Antitrust

Antitrust is a 2001 thriller film written by Howard Franklin and is directed by Peter Howitt.

The story's focused on Milo Hoffman, a young programmer who gained prominence in his field. Together with his friends, they formed their own software development company Skullblocks. Milo is contacted by NURV's CEO Gary, NURV is a huge software company but isn't in good terms with the Justice Department. Leaving his friends behind, Milo had been promised a top position in the company and a good pay. Starting his job at NURV, he noticed that Gary always helps him with providing source codes. When Teddy died, his bestfriend and also a top caliber programmer like himself, he contacted their other friend and also Teddy's co-worker and found out clues to his death. Milo later found out that NURV was the one to blame for his friends death and he then planned to avenged it by serving them justice.

Antitrust comprises proprietary and open-source softwares, and basically it's open-source vs. close-source softwares, although the film showed that it's pro open-source.lol "Knowledge belongs to the People". The movie actually isn't bad, but it's fun that their making NURV look like Microsoft.
